Thanusya Shanmuganathan is a prolific Malaysian author who has carved a distinguished niche in Malay literature under the pen name Meera Natasya. A graduate of the University of Malaya, her literary portfolio includes four acclaimed novels, most recently Savithri (2021) and Hanya Kau Untukku (2023). These titles represent her inaugural publications under AGNI MN Media Resources, the publishing house she founded in 2021. Beyond novels, Thanusya has contributed short stories to numerous anthologies and explored children’s literature with titles like Rahsia Kabin Biru. As an active board member of the Malaysian Writers Cooperative (KOPENA), she is a staunch advocate for the national language. Her journey, which began with school essays, is fuelled by a lifelong passion for bibliophilia, having read over 1,000 books. Based in Petaling Jaya, Thanusya continues to blend her cultural heritage with compelling storytelling, cementing her reputation as a dedicated voice in contemporary Malay fiction.
