What happens when the country you are born in refuses to acknowledge your existence? Between the Cracks is a powerful work of fiction inspired by true events , pulling back the curtain on the heartbreaking reality of statelessness in Malaysia. It explores the lives of individuals left completely undocumented, stripped of a nationality, and left profoundly vulnerable to systemic exploitation.

A Race Against Time

The narrative ignites with a series of shocking, high-profile political murders. The killer intentionally leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues, sending the police into a high-stakes race against time to capture an elusive mastermind. As the investigation deepens, the thriller elements unravel to expose the tragic circumstances that push ordinary people into statelessness, detailing the harrowing fates that await those trapped in the shadows.

More Than a Crime Thriller At its heart, this is a deeply human story woven with crime, intense passion, and unrequited love. It follows undocumented individuals as they desperately try to carve out meaning and dignity in their lives, only to find themselves repeatedly preyed upon due to their stateless nature. Written with sharp narrative tension and deep empathy, it is a crucial reflection on legal invisibility in modern society.
