Pragash MuthuRajan

Pragash MuthuRajan is an Assistant Professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar, Perak. This debut book presents a deeply personal account of his journey from childhood to adulthood, written with the hope of inspiring readers across multicultural Malaysia. Growing up as a poor Malaysian Indian student in a Malaysian Chinese-type school, he faced numerous challenges, including poverty, cultural differences, social struggles, and limited understanding of the value of education, particularly higher education. Despite these obstacles, perseverance and life experiences gradually transformed his worldview and shaped his perspectives on faith, friendship, and marriage. Through honest reflection and thoughtful observation, Pragash highlights important social and cultural realities that continue to influence Malaysian society today. His story serves as both an inspiring personal journey and a reminder of the importance of resilience, understanding, and positive social development.
