Kaljit Kaur and Karl Casmir

Kaljit Kaur and Karl Casmir are Malaysian authors who share a passion for creating meaningful stories for young readers. Kaljit Kaur began her writing journey in 2014 and has received recognition in national writing competitions organised by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka and MyCreative Ventures. Her published works include children’s picture books, children’s novels, and young adult fiction. Karl Casmir, the pen name of Kasmir Singh, is an educator, author, and publisher who holds a Master’s degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He currently serves as a Vice Principal in Shah Alam, Selangor. He writes both fiction and non-fiction, primarily in English while also publishing works in Malay. Together, they combine literary creativity and educational experience to produce stories that entertain, inspire, and nurture a lifelong love of reading among children and young adults.
