Arisa Suryana

Arisa Suryana finds it difficult to express herself through words when speaking, often struggling to choose the right sentences or articulate her thoughts clearly. As a child, she turned to writing as a way to communicate, especially with her parents. She would write letters to them, knowing that they understood her better when they read her words rather than heard them.
Growing up, she continued to write in her own quiet way. Without access to a computer, she filled notebooks with stories, carefully formatting them like a novel. One memory that still stays with her is seeing her father proudly show her handwritten “novel” to his siblings. It was a small moment, but one that she carries with her until today. To Arisa, writing is not a passion she chose… it is the language she relies on when speaking falls short.
